Membership of the Kentish Players is open to anyone over the age of 16 and prospective members are always welcome to visit us at a rehearsal. There are three different categories of membership:

Acting Membership: self explanatory! Entrance to acting membership of the KP's is via a short audition. Please contact Janet Pankhurst either by e-mail address above, by phone  01795 424589 or by post 2 Rookery View, Iwade, SITTINGBOURNE, Kent, ME9 8TN to find out when the next auditions will be held.

Non-Acting Membership is particularly suitable for anyone who wants to be fully involved with the life of the KP's, but who would prefer to take on a backstage role - stage management, lighting, sound, costumes, publicity, production management, box office etc. If you have theatre experience, you're very welcome - if you have no experience but plenty of enthusiasm, we can train you!

Vice-President: Do not take part in main productions in an active sense, but always support the activity of the company by buying tickets, promoting our work, and joining us at our many social events. Becoming a VP is an ideal way to get involved with this highly successful company, without the full commitment of acting and non-acting membership.
